MISSION OF THE DEPARTMENT

To provide internatiuonal class of education enabling the students to have the ability to design,plan,engineer, administer and manage the latest technologies in the field of mechanical engineering and to face the future challenges of industries and society. 

Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 2003. The department is very popular with the industries. The department has excellent infrastructure facilities by keeping on par with the latest trends. The eminent faculty members are from the various reputed institutions like Anna University,REC and also they have published research papers in the field of specialization especially in the journals at national and international levels.

The department has been producing excellent results with distinction in the university examinations consistently.

 Association and its Activities

Association of Mechanical Engineers was established with the purpose of helping the students in promoting their areas of interest.

The list of activities of the Association include:

Conducting Guest lectures by eminent personalities in various fields of Mechanical Engineering.

Our students have been actively associating themselves with industries through industrial projects,in-plant training and industrial visists with organizations like Ashok Leyland, Hyundai,and Ford etc

Encouraging students to participate in State/National level Symposia and contests.

Technical seminars,Aptitude tests are conducted periodically for students for placement.
